Itinerary
Day 1: HA NOI - HA GIANG
20:15 – 20:30: Tour guide welcomes guests at My Dinh Bus Station, the group boards Meditours’ bus and departs for Ha Giang.
Around 04:00: the Bus arrives at Tan Quang – Ha Giang, the gateway to Hoang Su Phi district in Ha Giang.
The group then travels to the accommodation after a six-hour bus ride.
Day 2: HA GIANG - HOANG SU PHI
07:00 AM: Group breakfast, pack belongings, and prepare to depart with the tour guide to Hoang Su Phi district.
During the journey, the group will marvel at the majestic scenery along the roads of Ha Giang, featuring towering mountains, expansive fields, and small houses nestled amidst the hills and forests.
09:30 AM: The group disembarks from the vehicle, and switches to a shuttle motorcycle to reach the Tung San commune center.
10:30 AM: The group enjoys their first lunch at the commune center, savoring enticing specialties of Ha Giang such as stove-side pork, baby porridge, or Ha Giang-style rolled egg cakes. Recharge with energy for the upcoming exploration of Ha Giang.
01:00 PM: Meditours’ vehicle takes the group to conquer the unique trails in Ha Giang. The slow-paced journey allows travelers to comfortably admire the landscapes along the way.
05:00 PM: The group visits a Mong ethnic minority household situated at an elevation of 1600m above sea level. Rest, or if inclined, guests can join the porters and homeowners in preparing dinner.
07:00 PM: The group gathers for a cozy dinner by the warm fireplace, accompanied by a cup of hot Ha Giang corn wine. Listen together to fascinating stories about the ancient forest and the unique culture preserved by the local people in Hoang Su Phi, home to the Mong community.
09:00 PM: The group rests, replenishing energy for the next day’s exploration of Ha Giang.
Day 3: HA GIANG - TAY CON LINH
5:30 AM: The group wakes up early, performs personal hygiene, has breakfast on-site, and packs up to continue the journey exploring Ha Giang.
6:15 AM: The group begins the journey to move from the campsite area and trek up to the summit of Tay Con Linh.
On the way, the guide will lead the group through the primeval forest with ancient centuries-old trees, some so large that a few people cannot embrace them, or into the dwarf bamboo forest with incredibly diverse vegetation. It is a trekking route rated as relatively gentle, but guests are likely to feel tired. However, don’t worry, the Meditours Ha Giang guide and porter will always be there, caring, and assisting.
When the group reaches an altitude of 2100m, a vibrant azalea forest covers the entire mountainous area, creating an incredibly picturesque scene. This is also the sign that the group is about to complete the challenge of conquering the Tay Con Linh summit.
The last 300m is the most challenging path to conquer Tay Con Linh. Therefore, please prepare mentally to climb continuously up steep slopes, through rugged cliffs amid deep valleys, and expansive skies.
11:30 AM: This is the estimated time the group will reach the stainless steel pole on the summit of Tay Con Linh. Enjoy the sense of achievement when conquering a mountain peak, and savor the feeling of extremely fresh air amidst wild nature, and the vast, majestic scenery before your eyes.
Noon: The group has lunch and a celebration at a flat spot near the summit of Tay Con Linh. The porter will light a fire to keep the group warm and cook food.
1:45 PM: The group returns to the campsite and rests at an altitude of 1600m.
5:00 PM: The group returns to the campsite, bids farewell to the Mông ethnic people, and boards the car back to the main road.
6:30 PM: The group arrives at the main road, says goodbye to the porters, boards the car, and returns to Tan Quang.
8:30 PM: The group has dinner in the town of Tan Quang.
10:00 PM: The group bids farewell to the scenic routes of Ha Giang and the picturesque nature here, and boards the car back to Hanoi.
4:00 AM: This is the estimated time for the group to return to Hanoi. Officially concluding the 2-day journey of exploring Ha Giang full of experiences. See you on the next exciting journey.
