Itinerary
Day 1: HA NOI - VISIT VI XUYEN CEMETERY - QUAN BA - YEN MINH (LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning 5:30 AM: The group gathers at the center at the National Convention Center in Hanoi and departs for Ha Giang. Along the way, the group will stop for breakfast at their own expense.
11:30 AM: Guests rest and have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, the group continues by bus through the Vi Xuyen district, where guests visit and offer incense.
Afternoon: The caravan continues towards Yen Minh. Along the way, guests conquer and admire the Bac Sum slope, a 7km stretch. Standing at the summit of Bac Sum, they can enjoy the panoramic view of the magnificent road. Passing through Quan Ba district, guests have the opportunity to check in at Nui Doi Co Tien – a mountain associated with a touching legend.
5:00 PM: Arriving in Yen Minh, guests check into their hotel for rest.
Evening: The group has dinner at a restaurant in Yen Minh. After dinner, guests are free to stroll around the town of Yen Minh.
Day 2: YEN MINH - DONG VAN - LUNG CU - RIVER CRUISE NHO QUE (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning 6:30 AM: The group checks out the hotel and has breakfast. Guests head to Dong Van Karst Plateau. Along the way, the group stops to admire and take photos at:
- Suong La Valley
- BUCKWHEAT FLOWER GARDEN
- Lung Cu Flagpole
Noon 11:30 AM: Guests have lunch at a restaurant in Ha Giang, enjoying the local cuisine of the Northeastern mountainous region.
Afternoon 1:30 PM: Guests board the bus to visit the renowned Ma Pi Leng Pass, the most famous mountain pass in Vietnam, standing at an altitude of 2000m, above sea level. The winding and steep road offers a thrilling experience. After convering 20km of the pass, the group stops for photos at the Ma Pi Leng viewpoint, overlooking the Nho Que River winding like a silk ribbon along the mountain.
The journey includes a fascinating experience of cruising on the Tu San Gorge – Nho Que River in Tu San Gorge, considered the deepest gorge in Southeast Asia and featuring unique geological formations in Vietnam. The Nho Que River flows into Vietnam from Seo Lung village, Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, passing through Tu San Gorge and Ma Pi Leng Pass. Remember to bring your camera to capture the extraordinary moments here.
Evening 7:00 PM: The group has dinner with the specialty of Black Chicken Hotpot. After dinner, guests stroll through Dong Van Old Quarter located in the center of Dong Van town, Ha Giang. Though not as large-scale as Hanoi’s Old Quarter or Hoi An, it still retains its unique charm, attracting visitors with around 40 houses under 100 years old nestled at the foot of the rocky mountain. Especially, guests have the opportunity to enjoy coffee in the Old Quarter’s cafes, featuring a blend of local and Chinese architectural influences. Overnight stay at a hotel in Dong Van town.
Day 3: DONG VAN SESSION MARKET - CAT KING'S PALACE - HANOI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
Morning 6:30 AM: Check out of the hotel and have breakfast. Afterward, visit Dong Van Market, where you can explore, shop, and learn about the unique culture of the local indigenous people in the highland market. After participating in the market activities, you will be taken to visit the Ho Vuong Mansion – the residence of King Meo Vuong Chinh Duc. Located in the Sà Phìn Valley, the Meo King’s mansion was once the most powerful house in the Hà Giang region. The grand and majestic architecture belongs to the prestigious Vuong family.
Noon 11:30 AM: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, board the vehicle for the journey back to Hanoi.
Afternoon: Continue the journey back to Hanoi, with a stop in Tuyen Quang for rest and to purchase local specialties as gifts for family and friends.
Evening 8:00 PM: Arrive in Hanoi. The tour guide bids farewell to you, concludes the program and hopes to meet you again in future journeys.
