Ha Giang – Dong Van – Meo Vac Karst Plateau – Cao Bang – Ban Gioc water fall – Cao Bang. 04 days tour
Itinerary
Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van ( 150km - lunch, dinner) Overnight at Dong Van Hmong homestay
Our guide/driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Giang then depart to Dong Van. Drive on the undulating terrain, between 800m and 1500m in height, through beautiful mountainous landscapes and terraced paddy fields. Have some stops for taking photo and visit the Heaven’s Gate, Bac Sum Pass, Fairy Mountain. Have lunch en route. Afternoon visit some villages on the way. Visit the Vuong Chi Sinh’s Palace, a King of H’mong hill tribe before. Arrive Dong Van, check in the homestay. Dinner and overnight with Hmong family ( enjoy the happy water ).
Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Bao Lac ( 130km - B,L,D ) Bao Lac Tay homestay.
After breakfast take a stroll round Dong Van Market in the morning then do a short trek to Don Cao is an ancient fortress built by French people during the wartime to control the area. After that drive to Ma Pi Leng Pass arguably the most beautiful landscapes in Ha Giang and also in Viet Nam. On this Pass you will do a short walk about 40 minutes to visit the Sky Pass then keep going through Meo Vac to get to Bao Lac. Check in the homestay of Tay people, in the evening you have free time to experience the life of the local people in here.
Day 3: Bao Lac – Tra Linh – Trung Khanh – Ban Gioc Waterfall ( 170km - B,L,D) Tay Homestay
After breakfast heading to Ban Gioc Waterfall. On the way have chances for local river swimming. Discovering the local tribes of Tay, Nung people and their daily markets and schools. You’ll have lunch in a small town. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive in Ban Gioc to check in the homestay.
Day 4:Ban Gioc Waterfall – Cao Bang ( 100km - B,L )
After breakfast takes the boat trip in Ban Gioc Waterfall. Stop for travel permission at the border line between Vietnam & China for visiting Ban Gioc waterfall. Lunch at local restaurant or picnic lunch near the Fall. On the way back to Cao Bang, visit Nguom Ngao Cave (among the most spectacular caves of Northern Vietnam), discover local villages specialized in knife making. End of the tour in Cao Bang city at around 04 pm!
